Hi all

I am sure I have asked this before so apologies in advance - I will trade you a couple of semi drafted Trip reports (including an INCIDENT) for some advice ;)

I have a booked and ticketed DONE4 for travel in early September that now looks like it might have to move to October. The routing is syd-sfo-......syd which I am still happy with but I am trying to recall if a date change of the first flight will trigger a complete cancellation and start again or whether I can make hat change?

I might consider some routing changes or potentially a complete cancellation :(

Any help would be great.

I had a similar issue recently and my TA advised that any change to the first international sector required ticket reissue and would attract a reissue fee. I think that was a couple of hundred? Anyway I'm sure one of the gurus will provide the definitive answer...

In practice any change to the first (international?) sector seems to result in a re-issue. This is at no specific charge other than difference in fares/taxes and service fees. There is NO "re-issue" fee for TC3 originating xONEx's.

This is even though the xONEx rules for TC3 indicate otherwise.

OK - thanks (I think it was a DCIRC I was caught out on). I shall wait and see if the whole trip is binned or not.

Still looks like plenty of availability in F and D SYD-SFO :)
