Very enjoyable trip report and nice photos.

Interestingly, rather than just scanning the index fingers on each hand, the scanners at BOS scan you whole hand (RH 4xfingers, RH Thumb, LH 4xFingers and LH Thumb) which took a bit of extra time. I am not sure if all of the entry points are getting this, or if it unique to BOS.

On arrival into IAD recently, I had to place the 4 fingers of each hand on the scanner, followed by both thumbs:evil:
