So annoyed with Chrissy etc I had missed this deal and have put a about $180k ATO payments through in November December on my ANZ card that I would have put on the CBA.

Oh well at least I have a $50k SRO payment I can put through CBA this month and maybe some BAS too.

I too called up and asked about the promo and lack of evidence on my account,
they said my dbl points promo had been activated,
I checkd my statement today and the one for last month ahs been doubled!

happy

Are you saying you bonus points have already posted? Even though is says bonus points will be credited in March/April statements?

Do they show differently or just part of the MC card total?

I don't seem to have received any bonus points :(

Mine posted on the November/December statement. I got the offer, activated it, got a confirmation email. Then went away with spending before the end of the billing cycle. Wasn't expecting any of the bonus miles, but lo and behold.

They don't show as a separate item btw.

Yay yay yay!!!!
I never got the confirmation email so I was quite nervous about this offer. But Dec statement shows 1.25 Qantas points per dollar spent. Very happy indeed

And mine too had no mention anywhere of bonus points. I had to go through and add up all the MasterCard purchases and multiply by 1.25 instead of the usual 0.625

That was my (certain) recollection as well. In fact I whinged about it up-thread.

Nothing extra for me yet.

Just saw this promo now. if i lock or block my mastercard before 1 feb, will i be entitled to the extra points from transactions prior to the lock?

Special thanks to the OP for starting the thread. The points capping bar has been reset .... I'm back in business with CBA / ATO transactions :D

have been twice round the ATO loop since promo and just time for round 3!

Double points posted on Dec Statement

"Happy Jan"

Tks too for starting post

Just beware that the points shown on Commbank Credit Card statements are the # Commbank Awards points earned - not the actual number of Qantas Points earned. These 'Awards' points then convert to Qantas Points at the rate 2:1. So for those with Diamond cards, Mastercard purchases earn 1.25 'Award' points per dollar and Amex purchases earn 3 'Award' points per dollar, these then convert to .625 and 1.5 Qantas Points per dollar respectively.

So if you have $100 of Mastercard purchases and your statement shows Mastercard points earn of 125 that is just the standard earn rate and will convert to the usual 62.5 Qantas Points. If you have received the bonus points from this promo, then $100 of Mastercard purchases should show 250 points earned on the statement and that would convert 125 Qantas Points.

Oh yes you are right!
I just checked my Qantas statement and you are right, it does halve.
Bummer
Now I'm all anxious again whether I will get the double points as I never received the email

I didn't get e-mail so I called them weeks later and they confirmed the offer was OK. Suggest you do the same as a 'marker'.

I activated the offer by changing the security settings on my card.l in Dec. Haven't received any email and about to make a large purchase that would otherwise go to another card. Called them up and said there was no way for them to tell if I was eligible. Makes me a little nervous now.

When I changed the security settings in Netbank I got an autogenerated email saying settings changed.

this should be sufficient proof if the extra points don't credit in due course to claim them under T&C's of offer

Just got my statement with bonus points awarded.

It looked a bit light on, so I did the add-up. About 10% light (less than I thought!), and I think I can see why. Early in December I changed from a Plat card to a Diamond one; I did the lock/unlock on both cards and the points don't appear to have been awarded for the earlier plat card.

Only counting eligible spends (eg no direct debits...). Have e-mailed them & will see what they say.

Yay, yes me too, very happy with bonus points, it's monitoring and taking advantage of deals like this that make AFF so rewarding

Just got a call back from CBA - yes, they had omitted the spend and points on my prior Plat card; going to credit the balance. Nice easy solution.

Only wish they wouldn't call on a "No caller ID" and then ask me to identify myself by answering the personal ID questions. I called them back and of course sat in the queue for ages.

How do you know if bonus pts were paid ? Far as I can tell the only way is to manually add up Amex and MC spend, accounting for bonus partners separatly and compare with the statement details. Is there another, simpler way ?
