Double Dipping on the Woolies 10% Discount

Unsure where to post this, but suspect this forum is the most relevant.

As some of you are probably aware customers of certain Woolworths services (e.g. Woolworths mobile) receive a monthly 10% discount they can use on their shop. What is interesting, and something I think is worth noting is that the discount can be applied to both an in-store purchase and an on-line purchase (using the promo code Woolies), thereby doubling your opportunities to save 10% off your shop.

Unsure if there are other ways to take advantage of this discount, but thought I'd share in case anyone is curious.

Wow! That's a loophole.

I've been happily saving $40 or $50 a month now for a year by having a big shop for non-perishables each month. I'm considering a different service for next year too.

If I can get $100 off a month...

I have Woolies car insurance and use my 10% discount on one big shop each month. I have been saving $15-25 a month which is more than what I pay to insure my older car. It has messed up my spend x for bonus points though. I get higher thresholds.

I've noticed this too, but I put it down to the fact that I have both Woolies insurance and SIM card.

And for those who aren't lucky to have Woolies Delivery Unlimited or receive free grocery delivery due to the ongoing pandemic, there is still a way to take advantage of the online discount: simply place it as a click n' collect order! Just like advertised on Woolworths catalogue.

I've noticed this too, but I put it down to the fact that I have both Woolies insurance and SIM card.

Confirmed yesterday when at the checkout the bonus was stated to be for SIM card. So I think the original hypothesis by
