Double Points and DSC [Book by 8/9/17, fly by 6/9/18]

The current promotion which is not related to this thread or previous threads.

The current promotion appears to be targeted to certain individuals at random times that does not form part of a semi-general promotion where many frequent flyers are targeted at once.

The double SC promotion that formed part of the genius of this thread and referred to in the OP requires that flights be flown by 6th September this year to be eligible.

It would me more appropriate to report the offending post/s, as another member did.

As previously stated, simply saying the word 'mods' does not alert any of them to the thread to help you. But reports do.

Yep, noted. I didn't think just writing "mods" caused automatic action or anything but the mods here are pretty good and it wss a suggestion

I'll use report in future though they're not bad posts per se just in the wrong place (in my opinion anyway) so I tend to avoid things like "report"

I think the intent in "reporting" a post is not a dob in or get someone in trouble, more a heads up to hey maybe this could go somewhere more appropriate - at least in the context of this side conversation.

As I wrote I certainly do not consider such things as bad or that anyone should be sanctioned or anything, and I do not believe the comment above suggesting posts be reported was meant in that way at all.

It's just a way of getting the mods attention, not a red card. In this case the posts were reported (by me) to get the mods to move the 50% sc offer to their own thread rather than cluttering up this one.

"Report" can be used for many things; good post, suggestions etc. no probems.

Just cashed in 1/6 insurance polices I took out back in Sept. Good way to start the NY, flex booking reaping 40SC and only 7.5k to upgrade

It’s been a busy time. Have now used all 6 GV as per the above with points upgrades accepted on all Will now move onto the ones I purchased in Feb. We’ve aready started working the rooster specials and took advantage of the recent companion fare, booking a family J x 4 trip to PVG ... earning something like 840SC each

I (re)booked my LHR flights with this offer and the DSCs came through within a couple of days. Coincidentally it overlapped with a double points offer, and these have also been credited.

If he transfers to me will the double status credits (hopefully )still apply ?

Then when you use the GV, put your details in against the pax info.

Ok have saved the credit card fee (now that was handy )
This one isn't till early June so will watch out for the credits.. I know doesn't help P1 but nice to add to LTG goal
