My last DSC run to TSV. Will scramble past the investment property outside of brisbane Between QF650 arriving and QF978 departing, 18 holes of golf Sunday morning, lunch with a couple of work colleagues and back to TSV for the journey back to Perth. So hopefully will hit 2400 and claim this one on tax!

Me too, Mrs Lime decided to join me in Perth on this my last double run, she in Y me in J, currently in Fremantle, next few days its out and about, she has lots of tours planned in this beautiful city (mainly by foot) later will be much wine and dining me thinks.

With Mrscove's Double Status Credits ending on June 30th I found it a struggle to book 2 in J at a reasonable points cost using that AFF thought of why fly direct when you can connect.
For the first time I used the slider to cut the points cost seeing QF were using a points rebating at a cost sub 1 cent each.
Some direct QAN flights in J to Sydney were 300,000 points each way so I was relieved that I could use Canberra and Melbourne to cut the points cost and up the status.
I guess it is school holidays or a big event week in Sydney in the last week of June.

I got my 2xSC from flights on Wednesday posted on Saturday. well 3/4 of them. Still waiting on 1 but very happy.

School holidays start the last weekend of June in NSW.

Well that explains the points going crazy. I didn't look at Perth to Singapore to Sydney but I tried many other choices inside Australia. The Sydney curfew is a real stopper!

Have done, per Red Roo's suggestion last week. The FF Centre tells me it can take up to 6 weeks.

Completed my double status run today CNS/SYD/PER/SYD/CNS in J, had great weekend in Freo. with Mrs iime, red eye out of PER was a killer, some points posted already (inc. 8K bonus) awaiting rest of status to go to WP 1st time.

Congrats, I could aim for it now but I don't fly international and save for being invited to special events I really think it'd be a waste... that said, throw in some *new and worthy* domestic benefits and I'll clear out my bank account

I have qualified for WP with another 3 months to go until the end of my memberhip year. I was tempted to go for P1, but a recent status match to Star Gold through TK has changed that.

i think its more important for me to make sure i keep my star gold status. With QF cutting routes like ADL-SIN, I wonder if they are going to cut more routes. That way I can switch easily to SQ which offer so many more flight options from Aus to SIN, if needed
