Double Status Credits offer thru Corporate Traveller

Our organisation didn't receive this (to my knowledge) but I saw this thread shortly after booking a trip PER-BNE and return through corporate traveller. Clicked the sign up link, even though the flights had already been booked. My outbound (getaway) earned standard SC's, but return Flexi via MEL earned double SC's.

I used platinum upgrade on the MEL-PER leg, so can't tell if its the corporate traveller promotion or a stuff up at VA IT end that has changed things. Seems strange to not get double on outbound, but to receive on return - so I put it down to using an upgrade confusing VA, but that has never happened before. Plus the BNE-MEL leg remained in Y...

Getway fares are excluded from the promotion, which explains the outbound not crediting as double..

Ok - that explains it. So my data point is booked prior to clicking link in this thread and still got double SC.

I did a points claim for my PER-BNE flight from Monday (as we all know that VA posting of points is a joke at the moment).

Got 60SC's today, which l think is the normal 30SC+30SC (bonus sc). Was a Q fare. Seems like the x2 promo is working. Only 20 to go to quality for explorer gold, which l will be doing shortly.

Re: Double Status Credits offer thru Corporate Traveler

I cant seem to find a list of the participating travel management companies...?

Any one know if CWT are on board with this...?
Apparently Yes. SYD-PER (booked via CWT) posted as 60 SCs v 30.

I'd forgotten about registering for this and I was scratching my head why so many SCs!

Re: Double Status Credits offer thru Corporate Traveler

I signed up for this on the off chance that my work bookings would be eligible.
Just flew BNE>SYD on Elevate and got double SC (yay!) we use AMEX Global Business Travel.

Okay, then there is hope for me yet, as that is my situation as well (booked BNE/SYD/BNE in Flexi through Corp TA before triggering the offer, IIRC). Let's see what they give me. Not worth upgrading to J on a short hop for me.

I had booked flights the night before I received the email thru CT. I paid a $50 rebook fee just to qualify for the promo.
I had a flight booked for tomorrow that had to be changed to today, and I'm hoping it still qualifies for the double SCs. It's still under the same booking ref # so fingers crossed.

D'oh, that may be my downfall (not re-booking) , I wasn't in a position to do so. However, I did make a date/time change, so maybe that will have fooled the system

Re: Double Status Credits offer thru Corporate Traveler

I made a booking the day before ( 31st May ) I received the offer. Called CT and asked them to cancel and rebook, only $50 to do so. I usually book work travel 2 weeks max in advance, but will take advantage of this offer and book my next months travel next week ;) this offer has the perfect timing as my SCs year starts at the end of this

month.

Beat start to my SC year. Thankyou VA and CT. Just wished I had booked some more. IMG_5625.jpg

Re: Double Status Credits offer thru Corporate Traveler

Happy to report that changing date on existing booking (done in June) can still keep the double status credits.

I made a booking for SYD-CBR return in June, and I had to change dates to 1 week later in July. The flights were flown and I still get double status credits.

I have a booking made in June that involves a VA segment that was handballed over to alliance from July. At the time of booking it was still VA operated but it changed flight numbers and created a new PNR so will be interesting to see the outcome
