Double Status Credits promotion (Book by 27/2/24, travel 28/2/24-14/2/25)

Hi Folks,
Q if can assist with..
From the QF Page Mentions…
Whether you’re booking in the app, via qantas.com, Qantas Holidays or your travel agent, remember to include your Qantas Frequent Flyer number

I have bus trip coming up and have booked on QF Metal - If Agency didn’t include my FF# in booking, I go into Manage Booking in my Qantas profile online/in app and add FF# later - will still be considered as registered for this DSC promo..?

A quick question for those in the know - if you use the points option of points+pay to pay for a Flex Y fare then presumably you can still use a credit card to pay for the changes/fare difference when changing the airfare? (in other words you wouldn't then be stuck needing to use points to pay for the changes/fare difference?).

Yes.

As long as you fly with a registered FF#.

Hi everyone, question for you all and apologies if it's been answered before.

Hypothetically, if I book a $500 fare during double SC (e.g. a SYD-CNS), but cancel it and decide to book a SYD-LHR later for $1500 (after the promo ends). Am I still eligible for DSC? I assume so given the PNR/booking itself was DSC and I am just paying extra for a longer flight?

Should be able to - I'm doing much the same thing as I don't know dates/destinations yet for some trips.

I have been trying to book flights online for the last TWO HOURS.

Every time of the last several dozen attempts, I get this message on the very last page:

1708936979333.png

So I tried calling the VIP (sic) service. (I have Platinum 1 status).

Been on hold for 1 hour and 20 minutes now.

This is cough that Qantas can't even provide enough IT resources to handle bookings or customer support to help those locked out by their stupid system.

Anyone else having these problems?

Are you using the multi-city booking engine? If so let us know your route and we might be able to make some suggestions for you to fix it - the devil is in the detail!

Do you mean if you buy a gift voucher before tomorrow and then use it in the coming year that the purchased flights will have DSC ?
Anecdotally, such has happened before, but other times has not.

If it does not happen, then based on the terms of this promotion which has a specific mention of this and while that mention might be constured as being possibly vague, then you are likely SOL.

Thanks for your reply!

Yes, trying to use multicity.

oops... Finally got through to VIP team... Typing this with one hand while on hold...

Flights for 2 PAX in J are:
May 3 QF10 Per-mel
4 QF29. MEL-HKG
5 CX958 HKG-HGH
11 CX959 HGH-HKG
11 QF30 HKG-MEL
13 QF9 MEL-PER

Yes, trying to use that.

Flights for 2 PAX in J are:

4 QF29. MEL-HKG
5 CX958 HKG-HGH
11 CX959 HGH-HKG
11 QF30 HKG-MEL
13 QF9 MEL-PER
OK take out the PER-MEL and return and then try to make the booking - the multi-city often throws a hissy if you book a domestic leg at the start of an international flight - I had to make a separate booking for my domestic legs

Thanks for your help! Q seems to have sorted it... so please help diesel CBR first

Must fly PER-east coast because QF has poor support for its PAX with international destinations ex-PER.

PS Had to do it that way because otherwise QF ONLY offers the red eye flight and we are too old to function on <3 hour sleep before int'l flight

OK glad to hear that you have sorted it - if that doesn't end up being so then yell out!

Yep via Syd.
I put the two legs into multi city and it comes back with "This page isn't working right now"

I was able to see the flights and price in google flights but can't book it on Q site
