Double Status Credits promotion (Book by 27/2/24, travel 28/2/24-14/2/25)

Do you wait for a DSC promo before you book or just look on it as a happenstance?

I usually book during the sale that precedes a DSC :)

There are ways to have a changeable flight route & date for a SC booking, but people are reluctant to share that info here. I'll send you a PM.

Looks like I’m going to be in the “chasing ORC and DSC” team, as my connecting flights have now become a single direct from AKL to SYD

Hi all, I am thinking to cancel my bookings of QF79/80, which are Economy flex and eligible for DSCs. Just wondering if I claim for credits and book other flights in 2024 can I still get DSCs, or just go for full refund. Needing your suggestions!

Take a credit and your PNR will maintain its DSC halo

Thanks. If I decided to make J booking using these credits, the DSC will also apply to my new booking too?
Yep - sure will; so long as the flights are flown within the travel promotion period (i.e. by 14-Feb-2025)

Same for me. I have MEL-BNE-CHC in J that is now MEL-CHC. At the time the BNE flight was a lot cheaper than the non stop.

Just had my claim denied. I speculate that it's because I recently removed my middle initial from my QFF profile, but the booking had it in the name.

ORC claim was denied, but you got the SC credited as flown?

Did you submit the ORC claim via email or over the phone?

Can you just had your name back in your QFF profile?
I could, but I would rather they sort this out first (or say they can’t do anything) before messing with my qff profile again.

Yes got the SCs as flown (and the DSC), submitted ORC via email. I’ve emailed them back saying this isn’t right - it’s the same QFF number and the same person (me)…
