Double Status Credits promotion (Book by 27/2/24, travel 28/2/24-14/2/25)

Would flight credits qualify for this or would they use their grandfathered booking dates?
No, they will not imo.

The exception that was in last year does not appear in this promo.

Note: A booking made with a TravelPass will be eligible though.

An average of 180 SC per flight across 68 flights? Why don't I believe this?
Not only that, why advertise it? One of their justifications for removing xASA in the past was people using it to get to P1, this sounds dangerously close to where QF start reassessing things

Booking period seems longer this year, isn't it normally only 3 days.? I haven't received the email yet and a shame the nz sale is over, but I'm sure I can find what I need - a nz long weekend, a Melbourne long weekend and something for Xmas shut-down will sort it out tonight.

It seems to say that gift cards not redeemed to book flights within the booking period dates wont' be eligible.

Gift Vouchers purchased but not redeemed for an eligible flight booking (for flights that are not booked or travelled within the booking or travel period dates), won’t be eligible.

Oh well at least it is clear..

theres no intro email. Just an announcement on the website. You do get an email after registering. But registering can only be done on the app.

Edit. Email arrived five minutes after I posted. Of course.

Second Edit. You can also do it on the website.

It's up and running, double status credit or double points book by 27th Feb.
Having trouble registering though. Both on app and website.

To clarify on the GV's, at least in earlier years it was enough if you purchased the gift cards themselves during this initial 5 day booking period. As long as you redeem them during the travel period (e.g. buy your flights in July for September travel), your are mint. The T&C's look similar this time around so I'd expect this to work the same way again.

Currently in the process of a multi leg, having completed 5 out of the 6 legs, booked in flexible economy, giving me 20SC.

Remaining leg is SIN - SYD for the 20th of March. If i were to cancel this, would we get a credit for the value remaining, or forfeit all costs.

If i were to cancel the remaining leg, and rebook with dollars (963SGD for 40 x 2 SC = 80 SC).

Is it really worth the 20 extra SC?

With the current plan before my points reset, i will either be:

1195 SC on current forecast of trips, or 1215 SC if i try for the extra 20. That leaves me the month of April and May to find the extra points with planning some trips.
Double-check the T&C but it's usually been for ex-Australia travel only. In other words, a separate booking SIN-SYD would receive only the standard SC's but not doubles.

Correction: The SIN-SYD seems to be eligible.

From the fine print: "An Eligible Flight for the purpose of this promotion means a Qantas marketed and operated flight (with a QF flight number) on an Australian Domestic or International ticket where Qantas Points and Status Credits are normally earned. Any flight with a QF flight number on the ticket which is not operated by Qantas including Jetstar, Jetstar Asia, Jetstar Japan and other partner airlines will not be eligible for this offer."
