I made a couple of bookings last week. One was in business - I was able to cancel that with refund to travel bank and then use the funds for a new booking. The other is a choice fare, can't do anything with that.

Your comment made me realise I also have a Business booking I could also cancel. But I snagged the last fare at the cheapest price (SYD-ADL during the long weekend in March) and I don't think the bonus points are worth the extra $150 the fare would now cost.

T&Cs do say to allow for up to 4 weeks. Be curious to see when the first do post though

Likewise. Same here. Two flights taken on 21 December and still no sign of the bonus points.
I double checked that the offer was activated prior to booking and paying for these flights.
If anyone does get the bonus to land in their account, could you please post here, I will do the same.

I tolerated VA for a week for a decent haul in mid Dec as I do find Velocity points valuable and still waiting.

I emailed the WP team for flights taken on 14th and 16th and received this canned response

In regards with the Double Points promotion ( <snip> ), if you activate this offer through the activation link between 05DEC22-14DEC22 and book a eligible VA flights.

Please know that it will take up to 4 weeks after completion of travel for the bonus Velocity Points to be allocated.

I did activate before booking, so it looks as though they are having IT issues with the promo. Goes without saying... it would have been nice if the agent made a little effort to look up the booking ref that I gave, where they would have seen it's now been over 4 weeks.
