If it's liquids that won't go through security - no dice.

Why not just buy it at Changi? it should be comparable price to SYD.

So is it just liquids when transiting to Europe ? Reason I ask is I'm going to HKG transiting in Singapore. I have a tight connection in Singapore so was going to buy duty free in sydney - will this go through security in Changi? - thanks

If it meets the security screening requirements for LAGs (ie 100ml or less and in a clear plastic bag).

Same applies for TRS purchases. If you can get the same items before the airport (and spend $300 in the same store).
