DXB Priority Transit?

I didn't get pass for priority lane when I was gold. No real need though as its pretty quick through transit security anyway. Shower should be np provided no other delays. I reckon the biggest problem for first timers is finding your way from arrival gate to lounge. Once you are in the lounge there is plenty of help

There was a priority security lane when I transited T3 in October - but the line was closed. I didn't need it though as I was the first person there and it took less than a minute.

One of the security ladies asked me what flight I was on. I said QF1 from Sydney and all of a sudden she yelled: "Sydney has arrived. Get ready!"

I was given a fast track pass on the flight but it reads like it's for immigration only, not transit.

Same thing happened when I arrived off QF10 from LHR in mid Nov.

I certainly have read that, however my query was intended to be specific but I failed to frame the question so as to discount the situation of having to use a bus gate.

I do apologise for not being clear.

"MEL-LHR QF9" is pretty specific

I will be in a similar situation in May next year on QF1 SYD-LHR.
But I did a transit in DXB last year from LGW to SYD on EK metal (3 hour transit) and I just went into the lounge, found the showers and there was no queue so was able to go straight in. I didn't see anywhere to put your name down? Seemed to be a case of just queue if you wanted to use the shower. This was just in the J lounge though.
