I know it is by 30th April. I was just curious, given it is less than 2 days away and the promo has been going for 4 months or so, if anyone had received the points yet.

I still haven't gotten this.

Should have qualified from a DONE4 segment flown during Feb
LAX-JFK-MIA-DFW-LAX-SYD (AA/ QF)

Is anyone else still waiting.

Yes, I'm still waiting. I've got a couple of QF/CX bookings that should have qualified, but nothing yet.:(

Yes i got one already...

07 MAY 09 EXTRA POINTS WITH ONEWORLD 07MAY09 - - - 5,000 0

When i say i got one i think that was my only one i am getting, i don't think i had any other trips that qualify.

You can only get the bonus points once irrespective of how many trips you had that qualified for the bonus point promotion....

I could not remember but that for sure would mean i have got my one and only allocation :) 5000 is good, i will take it when given and all i had to do was fly BA9310 one way and QF9 the other. (And it was cheaper since BA allowed mixed fare basis and QF do not !)

The "creative" things we "AFFers" Do:lol:

Yes one of my more complex routes to earn some miles

I used to always take the long way via SYD or PER but not any more, these days its just as good and easy for me to take the direct route when in whY so long as i will make WP that year, unless of course the long way is also cheaper then i am more inclined to do it.

By the time I'd received my 5,000 Extra Points I'd forgotten what the promotion was all about! It had disappeared off the Qantas website and for the life of me I couldn't remember what it was all about - except that it involved a Friday night, glasses of red wine and trolling around the Qantas website!

After ringing up Qantas and being called back three times then submitting an email I now have my points :)

even though I probably should not have received them :) :)

Appears AA did a nice last minute switch a roo and swapped me from the QF code for my LAX-SYD flight to the AA code (an instruction I never provided).

Something to watch out for if you are relying on the QF code for the ~'s

Before I make a fool of myself on the phone to QF, I flew AA in Jan from JFK-SFO on an AA code and separate itinerary to my QF flight later the same day back to SYD. Does that qualify if I rang up and asked or because it was a separate itineraries it wont count?

EDIT: I just read = No Good!

I wonder what my chances would be if I rang up, buckley's and none perhaps?

I think it doesn't count...

From the original promo T&C's, they mentioned "fly on a Qantas marketed flight and at least one other oneworld partner marketed flight on the same itinerary between 1 January and 31 March 2009"

I think they'll use "same itinerary" to mean the same booking - thus not eligible for you.

Thanks I guessed as much. I didn't get the bonus but my brother who the exact same route BUT was on the one itinerary got the points. Mine wasn't all nicely organised on one itinerary on account of some Ad-Hoc organising by STA on a student fare. But I got some reasonable deals pre-VA/GFC/H1N1 so I can't complain!:)

Too late now, but what you needed was an "information segment" entry in your QF PNR.
