Sorry if I'm missing something obvious, but how exactly do you use these gift vouchers to pay for a fare on line?. When you make a booking, I can't see anywhere on the payment page to use the voucher. The options only appear to be c/c or bpay.

You can also go back to where you purchased the voucher and click on the redeem button, enter the booking reference and your name.

Last year I did it via the QF Manage My Booking route (after I had used serfty's trick of accessing the vouchers' booking reference using BA's MMB and inserting my QFF number). The voucher/booking then show in your QF bookings and can be accessed easier - no need to worry about losing a print out or the booking reference.

I also assume these vouchers can be used for child pax, travelling with an adult on the same voucher...? However there is no way to enter child pax details when purchasing the voucher, only field is for "Adult"

Will just jump in with a leap of faith and hope everything works ok, never purchased Q vouchers before but makes sense to buy a bucket load of vouchers now for my travel in the new year, saving CC charges and a very decent points earn...

Have any guinea pigs tried buying and using the 2013 vouchers and booking for either child or infants when counted in the number of pax when the voucher is purchased. I would like to understand what happens with any residual voucher value since these are only 75 or 10% when international bookings.

BA (or QF) appear to have blocked this as it no longer works. You can call up and do it though.
