Be quick to book on our new fares and Qantas Frequent Flyers could earn double points

To celebrate the launch of Jetstar's new fare options the first 1,000 Qantas Frequent Flyer members booked on a Jetstar Starter Plus, Starter Max or Business Max fare on eligible Jetstar flights (excludes Jetstar Pacific) from 11:00am on 17 May 2011 can earn double Qantas Frequent Flyer points.

Jetstar customers now have more opportunities to earn Qantas Frequent Flyer points, with an option to add points to your base fare for an additional cost. Qantas Frequent Flyer members who add a Plus or Max bundle to their Starter Economy Jetstar fare or add a Max bundle to their Business Jetstar fare will earn Qantas Frequent Flyer points and Status credits. So for:

an AKL-SIN Business Max fare (oneway), a:
SG will earn: 11756 x 2 = 23,512
WP will earn: 13063 x 2 = 26,126

a MEL-SIN Business Max fare (oneway), a:
SG will earn: 8,436 x 2 = 16,872
WP will earn: 9,373 x 2 = 18,746

Not bad, especially if you've got the double SCs offer.

MEL-SIN is a Zone 5 award, 30k in Economy, 60k in Business.
AKL-SIN is a Zone 6 award, 36k in Economy, 72k in Business.
