Earn points on Bank Transfers

I've had payment taken from my card last night for a recurring Payall that is happening on the 1st of November. Can confirm that I did not get charged a fee.
 
I would think the fee would be on your statement at the end of the month.
Not really sure but I'd have thought it would show the total amount including the fee for the charge/transaction. For eg, the amount charged to your card for a $100 payall would be $100.95.

It does look promising for no fees for existing payalls though.
 
The easy test if you dont want to wait until the end of the month (not that i will be doing it!) would be to do a new one off PayAll transaction now and see if it posts the charge immediately.

It tells you what the fee will be during set up. For the payalls set up during the promo period, it always said $0 fee.

That s great to know. One can't imagine we start to get charged when the fee advertised at setup was zero.
Just need NAB to keep payall for as long as possible.

I can imagine, however, a get out clause somewhere in the T&C's allowing them to pull the plug. But would be interesting if they tried to charge.
 
I am slightly concerned NAB might look closely at customers payall at some points,and start to freeze awards account of customers they suspect don't follow enough the t&cs in term of usage and purpose. Thoughts? Am I paranoid?

You might be paranoid, however, the they would need to call. My wife had an email to call them about the payall 3 months ago and we explained why the payments were going out. The guy on the phone didn't have an issue. They didn't ask for proof.

I think they will stop it for you if you can explain what the payments are for. To be clear, for both her and my accounts, we only use it for $20k per month of payalls

What did you tell them the payments were for?

It's very odd that they called considering this must be being performed by 100s of people; they must know.

Were any of your individual transactions $10k or more?
 
I’d also suggest transferring points out straight away if that works for you too, so if they pull it up at worst they could freeze or take 20000 points.
