I am new to ALL program (or hotel programs in general)
Do I earn points if the booking was made by my company? My ALL membership number was attached to the booking, and I got an upgrade (gold, courtesy of qantas - all partnership offer last year), but no point. I reached out to the hotel to get an invoice and some points, and I got:

"With regards to your invoice request, please be informed there's zero invoice as your room charges are covered by the company.
In addition, to your request for points, we are not able to credit as there are no charges on your personal account."

Wondering if that's normal or not, thanks!

Edit: And the ALL mobile app was displaying the number of points that will be earned, before the stay.

Depends how its booked,
All my work travel is booked via Corporate Traveller, and as they use the GDS software, so i receive all points etc.

  • Traditional travel agencies whose booking systems are automatically connected to the Accor booking office through a GDS software, regardless of the mode of payment* (excluding online agencies, such as Booking.com, Hotels.com, Expedia, Agoda.com, lastminute.com, etc.). "

Corporate TA is one of the exceptions for the online booking clause, for reasons as noted by Muppet501st above.

However, it sounds like your particular stay was part of a group booking where the company is directly invoiced? These sort of bookings typically don't earn points for the individual people staying in each room.

Ahh yes that's it then. Thanks for pointing this out, makes sense.
