Your assumption is correctHi All,
I assume the answer is no, but can someone confirm that AZ flights operated on EY won't earn anything through Velocity?
I managed to get on the cheap FLR-SYD-DUS deal and trying to work out where to credit my flights...
Thanks
LT
My experience flying AZ metal on EY codeshare FCO-AUH last month was that I DID earn velocity points and status credits notwithstanding that my reading of the rules suggested otherwise...

It would be interesting to try, but with AZ marketing the flight I think it is less likely to credit than the EY marketed flight.
I booked an EY operated KLM codeshare and was not able to credit it to Velocity.
Would that be because it was KLM operated?
Both EY and AZ are partners with VA and are listed with fare classes as being able to earn on the VA tables.
As I said it was an EY operated KL codeshare. It is true that the ticketing carrier (KLM) is not a VA partner though.

I assume the flight showed in your account with the AZ flight number and not the EY one ?
Seems that it works similarly to oneworld. I.e as long as operator and ticketer are both partners
As an aside its interesting that QF flight numbers on EK metal can credit to BA
