It is because the NAA-MRZ sector is used for two different flights, SYD-MRZ and NAA-SYD. If it was not handled this way, it would be theoretically possible to have NAA-MRZ oversold.NM said:I completely understand your example where you booked SYD-MRZ return. I am not going to try an work out why QF's system would issue SYD-MRZ as SYD-NAA and NAA-MRZ as I have no technical insight into the logic of QF's booking systems.
