Is first $1000 still fee free?
I asked EBP about the first $1000. Their reply was:

Hi Peter,

The first $1000 per month free will be removed under the new changes. It was necessary to remove this and increase the merchant fee in line with the increased costs incurred to operate the Easy Bill Pay Service.

You can continue using EBP service free of charge through other top up methods we offer, such as direct debit from your nominated bank accounts, EFT transfer into your EBP account or Bpay into your EBP account.

EBP has not been "working" ie debiting credit cards the last 2 days :( Not sure why...

Thanks for posting, thought as much.
I queried this in the ATO thread.
As they say, all good things....

Is it true the 1.3 % surcharge is applied on all transactions i.e there is no exemption on the first $1000 in a mo a month?
