I find row 3 is full on almost every flight. My go to is 5D where more likely to have an empty seat next to you.

This flight is so full even YX and J. Must be because of long weekend but some pax are in business attire.

Flew on VH-VUC last week and the row 3 legroom appeared to be less than some other VA aircraft.

Hopefully, 3 shadows from 3 flights in row 3 this weekend....

Presumably an older 737 too - my flight with less legroom was on VUE.

Row 7 again last Sunday with an empty middle seat where most rows in front had occupied middle seats.

I now don't take row 3 because tray table is in armrest.
Take row 4 instead.
Still has stretch space in front and mobile arm rest, if no seat mate at 4a or 4f arm rest can he raised after take off.
