Not sure if a website glitch, but I am unable to select choose EDI as a departure point for a VA award booking.

Flight I am looking at is EDI-AUH-PER on EY.

I can search and see availability for the reverse, PER-AUH-EDI (both as a one way and as a return) and can select other European cities as a departure point (e.g. LHR-AUH on EY can be booked).

Anything I am missing in the award booking rules that would not allow this or is there a problem with the website?

Not sure, but your best bet is to call velocity to ask. Given you can book to EDI you should hopefully be able to book from there.

It's not a daily service so make sure you look at a range of dates.

EDI is $100s a ticket RT in Biz over LHR.

So is DUB most times too. Huge Biz ticket levies in LHR.

Flew to and from DUB this month - more miles than LHR and much cheaper. Booked an EDI-DUB flight for £19!
