EDR General Promotions

I've got one left - 28 Jan - then I'm not buying fuel at WW/Caltex anymore.

I did use this voucher yesterday, at the bottom of the Sydney price cycle, with an almost completely empty tank. It was good while it lasted.
(yes, this post is just trying to get likes) ;)

No surprise that they haven't worked out a new promotional offer yet (so as not to breach the ACCC "enforceable undertaking"). The only way I can see them bringing one to market is them thinking they could offset the fuel saving $ or FF points obtained by selling much more F&B items in their stores). Can't see them thinking a profit will be made, so 4c litre it may stay. Oh well, better get more bonus points from personal promo offers

Now it is Thursday today....here's hoping for a General Promo (am I being too hopeful :p)

Wonder why they just dont do a points per litre bonus, no high end discount but high end points offer... something like spend $50 for a 5 points per litre and spend $100 for a 10 points per litre. Nothing to do with fuel discounting so fair game me thinks...

Everyday Rewards have a promotion at the moment for a chance to win a $200 Wish Card. It looks like they want to keep their database up to date. To enter the prize draw, you have to log into your Everyday Rewards account and update or confirm your membership details. Click on the my profile option on the top menu and update or confirm the page that has your street address and a few other details on it.

Does it have "tick here if you'd like to regularly receive meaningful bonus offers" on the confirm details page?? :D ;)

I didn't see that option.

Some offers have a feedback tab. You can opt to tell EDR that their email contact is "too little". That's the best I can think of. I click that option all the time.

My wife got hers this morning. Nice that I didn't have to make any changes and still got a chance in the draw

Same here. So we get 50 chances and there are now 2-3 million users? It will be interesting to see if any of us 'win'

I received an offer email yesterday to receive 50% off the Be Natural range (cereal, nut bars, etc) which was valid from 5 Feb - so activated the offer yesterday, went to do my shopping this morning and bought some Be Natural bars and made sure they swiped my card. No discount at all, was charged the full price. No point in querying it at the supermarket, with it being a targeted EDR offer, they probably don't know anything about it so am trying to contact EDR via a link from the offer email but member login isn't working, so that's made me even more annoyed!!!!

I'd be copying your offer email (and acceptance screenshot if yuo took it) as well as your Woolies receipt and talk to them - then email it in. Should get it fixed.

I've still got the offer email, unfortunately didn't take a screenshot of the "thanks for activating ... " screen, although I think I'll start doing that in future! I gave up on the website and got the contact number from the back of the card - have just called them and they've asked me to email a copy of the receipt to them so hopefully will get it sorted out.

They should have a history of the offer (and your acceptance) in your EDR records. Sounds normal (asking for the receipt) even though I think they should also have access to any transaction made with an EDR card (which should be referenced to your account automatically) and be able to do the fix on the spot. Still, what do I know :o :p

The woman I spoke to at the call centre wasn't actually able to help me directly and said she needed to phone the Support Team, so put me on hold for several minutes and then came back and advised I would need to email them a copy of my receipt - nothing said about the offer not being activated, so I assume they must have checked my account and could see that it had been.

Yes, I would have thought seeing as every transaction made with an EDR card is obviously tracked so they know what/where/how many you're buying :) that it would have been a simple matter for them to be able to call the transaction up on screen if I gave them the store number, receipt number and date but obviously not (although not sure why ... maybe they don't have access to price information from the transaction, only product type/quantity?).

The support staff at supervisor level can call up transactions by date and see an item by item description of all your products. The first line call center staff don't seem to have access to very much at all. I once had to chase some missing points which were over one year old. I finally got a supervisor to ring me directly about the matter. I'd found the receipt by then and was about to quote the details to her but she found my transaction just by using my member number and the date of the transaction so I didn't actually need to quote anything off the receipt.

There is a promotion in the current Woolworths catalogue regarding specific gift cards including Myer gift cards. The promotion is available for everyday rewards members only but isn't running in Tasmania. Check your local catalogues to see which gift cards it applies to.

Briefly, you have to spend $50 on certain gift cards and you will get $10 off your next shop at Woolworths. The offer is for the current specials period starting today. The $10 off is loaded onto your EDR card and won't show on your receipt. You can only use the promotion once per everyday rewards membership.

Read the terms and conditions carefully as I'm sure there are restrictions and exclusions as to what you can spend the $10 off towards. I couldn't find a clear definition of what the expiry date on this $10 credit is. If anyone has anymore details, apart from what is in the catalogue, fee free to mention it.
