WW Online have some general coupon codes for online orders for specific product groups but I think they are only valid today and tomorrow.

More details on this link.

click-frenzy

I've seen reports on another web page that the codes for these deals stack with the online codes in the current coupon books.

Apology if this is a double post. I had a problem a few minutes ago trying to post the following information so I'm trying again now.

Just got back from WOW after trying this .
EDR card doesn't have to be registered , now have 3 EDR cards that will give $10 off the next shop , but must use by 20/11/14 .

There is a problem with the EDR system - so don't forget you're supposed to get $10 off next shop over $50. As it has not worked for 2 of our accounts. Called EDR Help and sorted.

Got this general offer this morning:

But trying to click through brings up this screen:

FAIL EDR...there is nothing more frustrating. 45 minutes - you're kidding aren't you :o

After choosing between whether I say Kris Kringle or Secret Santa, my offer ends up being a $15 off an online shop of over $150 now (if I share with a friend); or 5% off now and claim $15 off in January if I don't share.

Not ready to shop now, so passed onto a friend (my wife ;)). She'll shop this week :D

So when I go to check out the Kris Kringle offer (thinking they'd deny me as I've already chosen), I get the same offer under both:

Those offers are not very exciting and the online minimum order for the discount is too high.

I piggybacked two similar ones last week, so I can't see why not. It can only say "the computer says no" to you

Similar offer available for in-store shoppers

Spend $100 get a $10 voucher to use for your next shop (within following 7 days)
. T&Cs - no smokes, alcohol, gift cards but can buy bus tickets, OPAL etc.

Special this week all sizes & several types of ham (stock up for Xmas if room in fridge) down to $5.99/kg

So spent $101.01 - got the voucher on end of docket.

Used discounted gift card & points offer. Time to get lotto ticket...

Today was a great time to get the car serviced over the road from Marrickville Metro, and even that came in $69 below the quoted cost!

I'm wondering whether any of these Christmas offers will actually save customers money.

Most of the ones I've seen so far only take the huge totals down to the amount customers would spend instore.

The only time I buy online is when I can spend less online than I would instore. This usually means keeping the orders to between $30 and $50 depending on what the special offer is that I'm taking up.

Agree rainbowgirl - we use it because of the convenience of home delivery and based on how much my wife just loves grocery shopping  (well, any form of shopping actually :o ). We start with the normal shop (saved in system) then add specials we want, finally deleting things we don't need this shop.

I tend to agree.

I have noticed that online prices are more expensive so the $10 off $150 online does nothing for me.

I did get a $20 off $100 online order via Entertainment book which looks OK but it will have to be click and collect as I do not want to pay delivery fee.

If you buy only the catalogue specials you won't be paying any more than the instore price. And new accounts generally get first 3 orders free delivery, so maybe it is new account time?

Way back in the thread I posted what I took EDR to task over 'price gouging'.

Online prices are anywhere up to 16% higher than shelve price in the supermarket the goods come from.

If doing 'click & collect' ONLY BUY SPECIALS as you lose otherwise.

If getting delivery - load up with specials and as few but heavy items you do not want to cart around - otherwise you are well and truly paying for that free delivery (just like those free extras with a car).

The changes to the WoW web site are due to go live in a week or two.
