Drink yes, dinner yes, but only if my day pan's out ok and there's a spot for the unnamed...

It was a great night!

Uppy did drink some SB! But what an SB! No gooseberry, cat pee or grass esters. This was an aged and worked SB from Whicher Ridge, a small producer in the NE part of Margaret River. And it was a 2009, so some age to add to the funk. Great food wine. (Interestingly, Cathy Howard, the owner/winemaker there came to the last tasting of the wine group that Daver6 corralled me into - and her 2008 Cab Sav was a cracker.)

Three of those plus a couple of bottles of Archaval Ferrer Mendoza Malbec and you might kind of get the impression of what these people led me into :shock: (and, when I left to catch my bus, the stayers were starting to gargle a bottle of Champagne at Print Hall).
