We have a honeymoon coming up in Oct, and we're departing MEL on EK405.

I've taken a look at the "virtual cabin" on the Emirates website, and it looks like in seats 1E and 1F (which we're currently booked into) might be completely enclosed cabins - and therefore it wouldn't be possible to talk with my husband through our flight, dine together, taste each other's yummy food and wine and whisky etc.
But I'm certain when we booked it a few months ago, that the inner seat pairs were companion seats and we had some kind of screen or something we could pull down and converse?
Has anyone flown these aircraft in F and can advise how I figure out if we can chat or not?

Like, legit, if we can't talk to one another and ooh and aah over our food and grog together, then screw that for having inside seats, we'll both change to window seats... I don't *need* to be able to chat to him, we just both thought it'd be fun to explore the whole luxe F class thing together so we can giggle and enjoy the experience together.

Cheers!

Oh yay! Yes, that's what I thought it should look like. The EK website doesn't seem to have a virtual tour of the older B777 cabins, only the updated ones, and the updated ones don't look like the above.

Hope they don't upgrade our aircraft between now and Oct 5th, because the divider would be fab :)

I think they only have a small selection of aircraft fitted with the new F class. Can’t see it changing between now and October
