EK retimes BNE and MEL departures from SIN

Ouch don't like that at all; well it could have been worse, an overnight flight.

The SIN-BNE timing is fine if you're originating in SIN but means an overnight in SIN if originating elsewhere in SE Asia. This combination may also not be available unless using multi-city.

I liked the old midnight arrival into BNE as I could get some sleep before going to work. With new timings I either lose a day of holiday to make the EK connection or connect to the QF flight that arrives early morning.

I'm not sure how changing an 0940 arrival into MEL to 0020 relates to "greater connectivity to flights offered by codeshare partner, Qantas." ...

True, both the BNE and MEL flights don't offer (any?) connectivity at all.

You can now connect to all the flights between 0600 and 1000...

Apologies David. Moderators please merge this thread.

So there'll be 2 EK A388s parked at MEL all day long from 28/10... quite a waste.
