Does anyone have any recent experiences with Qantas spend that has successfully unlocked lounge invites on the Westpac Black?

Thinking along the lines of the old Future Planet offsets..

I thought you just filled out the form here: https://loungepass.altitudeblack.com.au/, no spend needed

Definitely need some spend - see terms from that page:

Qantas Club Complimentary Invitations: As a Westpac Altitude Black World Mastercard cardholder earning Qantas Points, you are eligible for two Qantas Club Complimentary Invitations within each 12-month period of your anniversary registration date when you register your Altitude Black World Mastercard via loungepass.altitudeblack.com.au and use your card in Australia to purchase selected Qantas products and services each year. Selected Qantas products and services are the following items purchased directly from Qantas: Qantas passenger flights (with a QF flight number), Qantas Frequent Flyer and Qantas Club membership joining and annual fees. Excludes Jetstar, Qantas Holidays, Qantas branded non-airfare products and any Qantas products and services not purchased directly from Qantas.

Figured better to post here than start a new thread, but does anyone have any info or recent experience on what a "selection Qantas product or service" is?

This card is my back-up card that never gets churned, because it's free for life for me due to an employee flag which remains even after you cease working there provided account remains active.

I usually purchase the cheapest fully flexible one-way domestic whY fare during DSC to trigger the passes. Can later cancel the booking for a voucher to apply towards another flight or request a refund without any impact on passes which I gift.

Yes, I have used the purchase of an offset (about 3 months ago) and it was my only Qantas spend and my Westpac lounge passes were triggered.
