Emirates A380 Trans Tasman Good Bye Drinks/Flights

Enjoying Emirates Trans Tasman Before it Finishes! Is anyone thinking of enjoying the A380 either out of Brisbane or Melbourne before these flights finish or Auckland to Brisbane or Melbourne. Could do over night (dinner meet up) or even just day trip? Let’s throw some ideas around if we are keen? For me thinking either J or First! But will go with the flow as we all the selection of beverages available in the Emirates lounge.

24 March 2018, AKL-MEL the party flight is filling up fast at the pointy end. Last count was 2 AFF'ers & a Plus 1. Who those other 4 strange people are I have no idea.

Well...just organised informally. You are welcome to join in the fun. I am sitting in 2A & my Plus 1(father) is sitting in 1K & possibly in 1A also...long story! Another AFFer is in 3A. Heading over MEL-AKL 21 March back AKL-MEL 24 March - the last flight.

Well EF shows 407 down to F1 and J is kind of full (which has nt normally been the case on most of these flights I have been on)

Just as a data point EK 406 21/3/18 was myself, dad +1 in F & J was a wasteland approx 10 pax. Not to worry...I have ordered cake to share

So is the plan to meet in the AKL Emirates lounge? My QF booking is showing "not selected" for my seat but EK assure me I am in 2A on EK407 so we will see. If the inbound is running late I guess that means more lounge time. I came in on EK406 yesterday and it was on time. Crew were good in J and said they will be taking EK407 today. J had about 20 people. The bar was just crew standing around talking.
