Emirates Business Saver Cancellation Costs/Possible?

We’re looking at booking Business Class flights from Perth to Europe later in the year, maybe with Emirates as their schedules, all A380's and take-off/landing times etc suit.
As the return Business Saver fares for 2 come in at over $3,600+ cheaper than a Flex fare, were looking at a Saver however find EK’s T&Cs for Cancellation a bit confusing with the duplicated fee titles.
To consider the "risk" of a Saver, would appreciate it is someone in the know could shed some light on what we would be up for if we had to cancel say a day prior or earlier?
eg. is it $600, $1200 or $1800 in all should be cancel, or is it double as there is 2 of us? or more for Each Way?
Anything else - Change fee also??
Can they be cancelled with a full refund, less the above fees?

Services (per person)Fare type: SaverSaverFare type: FlexFlex
Change feeRestricted
AUD 400
No-show penalty:AUD 800
Change fees are additional to any difference in fare.
Restricted
AUD 250
No-show penalty:AUD 800
Change fees are additional to any difference in fare.
Refund feeRestricted
Before departure: AUD 600. After departure: Not permitted
No-show penalty:
Before departure: AUD 1,200.
No-show penalty: After departure:
Non-refundable
Restricted
AUD 300
No-show penalty:AUD 800

Thank you

Super Saver.

My reading is that outright cancellation is $600 per person.

A change fee applies when you change the flights but still fly. So there's a change fee plus the difference in fare from old to new booking (If any)

If you don't show up for the first flight then it's $1200 per person. There is no refund at all if you fly the first flight but for some reason, not the next flights.

For the flex, it's the same interpretation I think but less $ penalty but I don't know why 'No-show penalty:AUD 800' appears under the Change header.

The change fee is $400/$250 for changes made prior to the scheduled departure. If you no show, then want to change (possibly to a later flight) the fee to do so is not the change fee, but the $800 penalty (plus fare difference).

The following wording appears in the fare rules
CHANGES AGAINST NO SHOW
- A NO-SHOW FOR A FLIGHT IS CONSIDERED WHEN A
PASSENGER FAILS TO REPORT TO THE AIRPORT AS
BOOKED ONE HOUR BEFORE DEPARTURE OF THE
SCHEDULED FLIGHT.
- FAILURE TO UTILISE TICKET AS BOOKED ON ANY
SEGMENT OF THE ITINERARY WILL RESULT IN ALL
SUBSEQUENT SEGMENTS OF THE ITINERARY BEING
CANCELLED. IN SUCH CASES NO-SHOW FEE WILL APPLY.
- IN CASE OF NO-SHOW ONLY ONE FEE IS TO BE CHARGED
I.E. EITHER THE NO-SHOW FEE OR THE CHANGE FEE
WHICHEVER IS HIGHER AND NOT BOTH.

Thank you PUSHKA & EQUUS for your thoughts.
Would be nice if Airlines used more straight forward & clear language and not just part sentences in poor format.
Format of T&Cs look like they were printed on a dot matrix in the 80’s and go on and on with all sorts of drivel we don’t need to know about.

So it appears the biggest risk is if we have to cancel after Departure of the 1st flight from Perth, when we would not get a refund (ie. Forfeit approx half the cost of the fare if we’re already in Europe) but would have to get home somehow so expect change fees (+ fare differences) applies.
For the $3600+ fare savings (less any penalty fees) might be worth a calculated risk!

Travel Insurance may come into play in that event.
Agree re the Language, it's designed to be complicated I think. .
