Emirates Dubai lounge access question

I have redeemed some QFF points to treat my wife and son to a Emirates business class flight from Dubai in January 2025 (I am flying on the same flight but in economy).

Two questions, will they both get lounge access (if so which is the best Emirates lounge to target in Dubai)?

And will I be able to join them as a guest?

Thanks for the reply.

Damn, I was hoping I could join them in the lounge as a guest of either my son or wife.

Oh wait, does the QF ticket show what Business fare class - Special/Saver/Flex?

Good question. I had a look at the booking at both the Emirates and Qantas site and it shows just "Business". Cant seem to find a booking class.

Note I redeemed my Qantas points for both of them (we are flying Dubai to Colombo) and didn't really get a choice of Business class fares (there was only one option).

Should I ring Emirates and ask?

I think the question above was in relation to fare type, Emirates has "Business Class Special Fares" which are cheaper and come with no included lounge access, this is not the case for Qantas redemptions so no need to worry in this regard.

As for your lounge access, they won't be able to guest you but you can opt for paid lounge access. Assuming you create a free skywards account the current rate for the business lounge in Dubai is US$157.50.

Thanks.

$240 AUD (157 USD) is a bit too much for a two hour stay in the lounge. I might see if I can upgrade myself or just spend the time walking around Dubai airport.
