Dining was SPECTACULAR! I could rave about these dishes all night long Caviar paired with decadent extravagance Parsnip & Shallot soup paired with Lamb Chops paired with That’s an 11/10!

But half dozen glasses coming home (drinking my airfare haha)
And that’s apparently mild as compared to what others have mentioned they consumed on the 14 hour soirée !

my portion of caviar was about the double of the size of a tin, or the portion in the 2019 pic (It was yummy!)

as for paradis, polishing off half a bottle is an effort in itself! i couldnt do it,
i wonder if there are two customers drinking half a bottle each, surely they dont have a back up one

As for food, in my case, the flight attendant asked me if I was going to order a particular entree, as the another passenger wanted 2 portions. I was feeling generous so said yes with a big smile

Is it just me or does the menu - particularly the main courses - look boring? I'm very glad the beef came out acceptable for you - last I flew EK F and had the beef, it was not good - well done (OK it can still be tasty if prepared correctly, but why would the FA ask for doneness then?), tough and flavourless.

yeah mains/entrees weren't jaw dropping, I guess what else can you do to a steak with potatoes, unless you drench it with truffles. My steak was dry but being a wagyu helped, had i received that in australian steakhouse, I would have sent it back

I too asked myself, if I said "blue" would they just said ok and given me a well done one!

Offer the best cut of meat in F, give the option of doneness, and fancy up the sides. Cheesy potato gratin (pecorino Romano, blue cheese), truffle mac & cheese, sauce Bordelaise (the real stuff, not just a flavour packet), butter braised spring vegetables, morel and/or wild mushrooms... and yeah truffles will be nice in some form (no need to drown it!).

Of course some of those are real big challenges to offer in the air, but they've got to try and push it a bit - it is F. They obviously pushed the limits by installing and offering a shower service; why not the food? (And yes, I get for some people the food is not the F experience; it's just food).

Maybe EY do a better job in this regard. They don't try anything fancy with steak, but they do offer many options.

Maybe I've been at this game too long and I'm losing perspective of how good F really is compared to the other cabins.
