Emirates has missed the mark with its cabin upgrades?

I don't disagree about the J product. Would have to fly the relevant F products to actually comment.

Agree with the seating arrangement on J class but it does look beautiful. I generally think that any 777 'misses the mark' but that's just personal preference. Overall I think the new EK product still looks decent enough and I ten times prefer traveling through Dubai rather than Doha!

With regards to J, I really like the look of the leather (?) seats themselves (I think that they do look fab just like from an S class Mercedes) but I'm not a fan of the faux wood panels. Except for the tables, if EK trimmed all the wood panels in a matching leather of similar, I think that would look great.

It might look great, but at 2-3-2 it can't be a great product

Although I dont like 2-3-2, I also think they have a lot of families travelling so the 3 works well for 2 adults & kid.

The 2-3-2 is enough for me to pick another airline but obviously they have the data to stick with the decision.

That's the thing- this seat arrangement is awful if you have a stranger next to you. But when I travel with my partner, I love the 2s of the 2-3-2 and I bet many families would like the 3s as well.
