Hi all,

I'm looking at booking flights for myself and my partner to Europe at the end of this year with Emirates (preferred) or Qantas.

The flights will most likely be along the lines of Syd > Dubai > London and then Athens > Sydney (transit Dubai).
So far I can see that the flights are along the lines of $1800~ for Departure on 30th November and return in mid-late January.

Does anyone know if I should just book it now or wait for sales in Nov/Dec?
I'm not sure if there is any pattern of sales for that period.

Thanks!

I just booked flights for Sept/Oct. $1800 is a good price for me.
The prices were more expensive last year.
I would think booking now at the sale prices is good value. I guess you could chance waiting but there does not seem any regular pattens for discount offers.

I have heard though that there is a Qantas sale which extends to December 10 or 11 every year. Does anyone know about this?

I often travel to Europe for work in November. The prices at the moment are certainly cheaper than previous years and I too am debating how long I hold off for booking.

I've been watching the Qantas sale dates for several months since I've been debating a white Christmas in the USA, but the latest I recall departures on sale getting is about the 9th of Dec, with most finishing at the end of Nov.
