Hi All,

Itinerary is MEL-AUH Arr 0625, AUH-LHR Dep 08:10 in J. Never been to AUH before.

With under 2 hours transit time, do I have enough time to take a detour to F lounge and sit down for brekkie, or should I just prioritise having a shower?
If only enough time for shower, should I go to the F lounge for easier access, or stick with the J lounge?
Which lounge is closer to the EY A380 departure gates?

Thanks in advance for your advice!

You should be ok for breakfast (assuming you'll want it after food onboard?). But the sit down restaurant is quite pleasant.

If you have access (VA WP?), stick to the 1st Lounge if a shower is the priority. They have a wait list/buzzer system.

You'll be in the 1st lounge by 6.50am should you arrive on time. The 1st lounge is very close to transit security is (veer right after you get through). Put your name on the list for a shower, grab a bite to eat. Leave the lounge by 7.40am, its a 5 or so minute walk to the gates from the F lounge.

Please update the thread with how you go, I'm on the exact same flight in a couple of months so would be good to know if the timing works...
