Rymill Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon 2015
Deals come and go, these were from mid-September. The Haselgrove Switch GSM is there, but no bonus points now. Haselgrove wines can often be had quite cheaply on Vinomofo.I can see the Rymill offer, but the Haselgrove and Heirloom dont appear, and I have had Epicure membership for a while - perhaps that's expired and you don't get notified perhaps?
As it happened, received another QF Epicure email at 0209 this morning, repeating the Rymill offer, and also confirming my Premium status. I guess your'e right, as our best PM John Howard used to say, be alert but not alarmed...Deals come and go, these were from mid-September. The Haselgrove Switch GSM is there, but no bonus points now. The Heirloom Alcala Grenache has moved on to the 2018 vintage, no bonus points currently, but may come back later. But is its only single-bottle buy presently, so maybe there isn't much of it.
Bonus point deals change pretty much week by week, with some carry-over, some new, some gone. It's all a game, to be won by us with a little patience.

'Deal' is subjective. If you see a wine you like/want, at a price you are happy with and it comes with a reasonable bonus point offering, go for it.Can anyone offer any tips / FAQ's for a newbie to Qantas Wine?
I've seen people comment in the main Qantas Frequent Flyer forum that this is a really good points earner. (For example, "spending $480 on wine and getting 15,000 points" - plus presumably some decent amount of wine for that!)
I'm not a big wine drinker (normally limit myself to the occasional $20 bottles of NZ Sauv Blanc), but I do like to give wine to friends and colleagues, so wouldn't mind having a case or two on hand.
But I'm patient and happy to wait for a deal - just don't know how to recognise a good one.

Not sure if this is targeted, but I received an email this morning for a case of d'Arenberg d'Arry's Original Grenache Shiraz 2017 for $198 + free shipping + 5k Qantas points. See link here.
