Qantas Wine latest offering

Thanks for that.

Such a shame they elected to outsource this. The staff were absolutely useless and the line so bad I could hardly hear them. First person put me on hold and hung up after half an hour. Second one had to call me back three times before we eventually got a clear line.
Yeah, their phone/audio equipment is hopeless, I've had similar issues.
I'm still waiting on a resolution of a part non-delivery (1 6-pack of two in the order) of an order placed on 19 June. No one seems to be able to make a decision.

Funnily enough, Qantas sent me a survey after the call. I left them appropriate feedback. I ended up getting a call from someone at customer service who I assume was at Coward St (based on the attitude). Didn’t seem to see the issue. I dare say we’re stuck with the useless call centre.

Another email giving bonus QFF points and throwing in some wine:

Achieving cult status in an amazingly short amount of time, this Halliday 5 star-rated McLaren Vale winery, Ministry of Clouds, has delivered another stunner - the Tempranillo Grenache 2017. Enjoy a truly outstanding wine, rated 95 Halliday points, for only $27.99 a bottle in a case of six with 6,000 bonus Qantas Points* to get you flying sooner.

PIcked one up for clients and another for me (utilising my $25 birthday promo code when spending more than $100). 13K points earned spending $310.88

Ended up with Woodlands Cabernet Merlot and Heirloom Kings Garden SGM - I have enough straight Shiraz's. 20K bonus + 1,782 standard points for $594.

My deliveries have arrived safely this morning - for the first time, the points (21,782) aren't already in my account

Still the points haven't hit my account, so when my latest buys landed in my office just now, I rang Qantas Wine. OMG , what a debacle. Got the Philippines Call Centre, with a lady who was either training or clueless (didn't know the difference between my QFF membership name and my company name - which is the first line of delivery address of the wine purchases). I was about to ask for a supervisor, then it clicked for her. Confirmed the purchase but gave me the "you may need to wait the full 6 weeks" rigmarole.

"Oh please dear Lord, you can't process manually? "I asked....

'No, because it may mean you get double the points."

Well that would be recompense for having to make this call :p .

Now owed 34,790 QFF points (21,782 + 13,008 from today). Which will post first?

Same problem here got the company line of 6-8 weeks as is stated in terms and conditions.

Same here, still waiting for 8k points. Interestingly enough, I had ordered a previous batch the week before and the points posted 5 days post purchase. The most recent batch during the bonanza has not come through. 2 weeks and zilch points into my account yet...

Similar, my order on 5 July (didn't keep emails showing delivery date) - I got the points (including bonus) on 10 July. Order on 25 July is missing and order on 2 August delivered today.

Methinks their system has taken a turn for the worse. That's fine - no purchases until they fix it. Every email they send, I'll return with that comment. See if anybody cares about sales...

Interestingly, I just got an email from Qantas Wine "wanting to check in". Last time I bothered to complete the 2 min survey complaining on the inconsistency of slow posting of points and got feedback from the manager and consequently my points short after.

Well, just completed the survey saying "yes I know the 6 week waiting period, but the inconsistency is brutal, I may try Virgin wines particularly after I got posted a $50 voucher from them (who knows how or why I got that voucher mailed to my postal address)". Let's wait and see if I get a similar response to last time with a prompt follow up and points posting, otherwise, I am also black listing them.

Sounds like a lot of this has been offshored. Such a shame.

The person I spoke to on the phone sent me the most condescending email I’ve received for a while as a “followup”, so I’m guessing they are KPI ticking and just responding with a copy and paste to any negative survey responses. Was once a great service!

Maybe if your name was Alan Joyce it would be the opposite.

Likewise had the joy of having to speak to their offshore call centre. Probably the most frustrating thing, as others have mentioned, is the poor call quality - I could hardly hear them. Also got sent a follow up feedback survey and gladly gave this feedback.
