Wow. Look at that mill pond!! Beautiful
There were three out there yesterday. A steamer. The junk and a large super yacht. When we were there at the end of June that Junk and the other boats were tied up and going nowhere.
I'm glad to see some action at last
We can probably check all those out except the Cairns one! Thanks mHow much longer are you up for?
Are you heading to Mossman Gorge? It is well worth the look (and swim if you're up for it.. .beautiful cold fresh water...)

It's an indigenous business now.. pay to have a coach transfer from the Centre to the car park and then walk in through the rainforest. Used to be able to self-drive right up.
Tin Shed is also a great place for a sunset drink on the deck overlooking the inlet

Have you driven up to the lookout yet?
The pizzas at Rattle'n'Hum are also pretty good
If you end up back in Cairns, can highly recommend the food at Blue Marlin Bistro. It's at the Reef Fleet Terminal. (The google pin doesn't show it in the right spot... it's at the water front end of the building.) The location or menu doesn't the food justice... just looks like a standard steak, fish, chicken menu, but all the food is fresh and full of flavour. We've been eating there quite a lot lately...
Still plenty of time before you need to repack that steamer trunk.I'm bringing sunshine back with us next Tuesday.
