Etihad Award bookings with AA

Does anyone have any experience booking Etihad award flights using AA miles? I am particularly interested in options from Perth to Europe - I've already got 100k AA miles but will have plenty more once USDM transfers over.

Have you got itinerary in mind?
In short, Sign up with etihad guest to find availability and call up aa call centre(US) so you won't pay $80 on the aus(Fiji) call centre..

I haven't booked it but if you travel via AUH you will have to book as 2 awards South Pacific - ME and ME-Europe. However the additional cost is only 5000 miles (Y) or 15000 miles (J).
