Does anyone know if VA points and SC's are earned on EY codeshare flights?
Flying MEL-AUH-FCO and AUH-FCO is EY flight number on AZ metal.

Guessing no, but worth asking.

No, unfortunately not.

When travelling on eligible Etihad Airways fares and flights* with an Etihad Airways (EY) flight number, you can earn Points on your ticket.

You can also earn Status Credits on all eligible fare types.



"Points will not be earned on Reward Seat bookings or on fare classes other than as specified above. Points will not be earned on surface transportation. You cannot earn Points on codeshare flights other than those operated by Virgin Australia."

You do get points etc if its a codeshare operated by VA, takes forever to come through.

My EY flights to Europe credited in 2 or 3 days - that was in 2012 though.
