I did play around with expedia and managed to get some rates around $330 a/i one way SIN-AUH-BNE, as I would have been in SIN anyway I thought about heading to AUH just for a quick two night visit ..... but the thought of AUH-BNE then making my way to SYD would have been a 20+ hour affair in economy, was tooo much to handle. [17k VA points (as VA WP) would have been nice but oh well].
