LOL - Please let me know how you go with that, when there is one person at the desk, it's late in the evening and they refuse to come to the car
I look foward to hearing them sign this waiver....
I have stood my ground and refused to move on one occasion untill the vehicle had been signed back in I informed them that I would not accept any responsibility for any damage claimed if they did not csign in the car. On one occasion I made a call to the car hire company complaining that the agent was refusing to check the vehicle and that i would not accept any charges later. They then spoke to the agent who came out straight away.
It can be done if you are persistent enough however if your goal is to get to the lounge and drink and eat well so be it at your peril.
Also in this case as it was on a company credit card on company visit as long as you have the appropriate documentation at time of completing expenses I cant see how that would present hardship to you to you or your company. I also sugest that if your company uses this hire company on a regular basis that you advise them that you will be changing companies unless this sorted out quickly and favourably
