Europe summer

Hi all,

Wow, can't believe we are all having the same thoughts... classic!

I'm only able to see availability in Aug 22 in F when trying to redeem reward flights. Are you guys just doing a one-way and hoping more legs open up?

E.g if I book a return F at the moment, it'll get me from the 3 Sep to 15 Sep; hardly worth the effort in even worrying about it.

Re: spoon pricing.
125 KF points per SGD$.
Item is SGD$17.80 or 2225 KF points
Postage on a sliding scale, I chose all postage by points 2538 KF points, or SGD$20.31.
Total points used 4763 KF points, or SGD$38.11.
I think the value for KF points for flights is 1050 KF points equals SGD$10 off flight fare, for using p+p.

Booked F advantage. SYD-LHR
Sep 2022 one way.
I guess I'll just wait for more dates to open to book the return leg 🤣

Everything was waitlisted for me until Sep 🤦‍♂️ so I cant even see dates to try and get the LHR-SIN

I just did a search for 2 seats - available almost all days, it appears
Apologies, I misread. I thought you said SYD-LHR. It's early Sep departing SYD. We want a minimum 4 weeks, which doesn't let us choose that far out yet. 5 Sep depart.

Woohoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We just Booked MEL- LHR in June 2022 and back from CDG-MEL in Aug all on SQ in J

We will look to visit Portugal as well as the UK and France during this 8 week trip. We will not book any other arrangements unless 100% refundable (or pay later) until much much closer to the travel dates.

It just feels so amazingly good to have booked an international trip again.
:) :) :)

I booked confirmed Savers rather than taking the chance with Waitlist Bookings. I prefer as much certainty as possible with this trip.
Compared to two weeks ago when I looked there were a lot more dates open as bookable Savers.

Overall one can book into a range of SQ destinations in Europe, but there are gaps on dates when you can book. We looked at various countries and flying in and out of different cities increases one's options.

It was a nice feeling! And yes, did the same as you; I wanted as much certainty as possible so went with confirmed.

Now fingers crossed!!

You can presently book for the Christmas/New Year period too, though with limited dates.

I was tempted, but I thought it best to see how Europe goes once they transition back into Winter with Covid, as opposed to Summer with Covid.

For next summer in Europe I am quite confidant as by then they will have had even more people vaccinated, plus more that will have had Covid to have acquired better immunity.

Yes, but I fear that will soon come to an end.

True, which is why I am expecting to fly a lot in 2022 and 2023 in order to use them all up. However this is a nice problem to have ;)

The current extensions are shown below. This will keep some of points current long enough for some 2023 flights as well as 2022.

Can't see any availability for Singapore to Sydney in July in J. Found outbound flights okay though
