Everyday Rewards launches Everyday Extra subscription product

So I was at Woolworths doing a regular shop today, loading sparkling water bottles into my shopping trolley when a staff member comes up to me, the conversation went like this:

Employee: Do you about the EDR app?
Me: Yes
Employee: Do you use it, to boost your points?
Me: Yes
Employee: Do you know paid members get bonus points?
Me: Yes
Employee: Do you have a subscription?
Me: Yes
Employee: Can I take a photo of you using the app whilst shopping to display in store?
Me: No

Yikes they know want customers to do free advertising? Didn't even offer any points for the trouble.
And if you had answered "No" to the question about having a subscription, they would likely have offered to send you a friend referral so they earned some bonus points.

Got to be some sort of compliment though. At least some EDR users would look scary

Extra Perk that popped up today: $20 off MILKRUN order with $50 min spend plus a bonus Cadbury Diary Milk Egg Bag 114g.

I hope this style of "Perk" is not a sign of things to come!

Free bottle of Kirk's soft drink showed up as an Extra Perk (alongside a non-Extra Perk Uncle Ben's rice).

Perk: Free Cadbury Chocolate Bar (30-60g) and I also have the free Uncle Ben's Rice which is a normal booster, not a Perk.

Jar of sundried tomatoes, something I can actually use (unlike the Milkrun offer)
