Everyday Rewards launches Everyday Extra subscription product

My Dad stopped at two other Woolworths on the way back from my local today and none had any of the eligible flavours. Given all the flavours are the same price I dont see why they needed to limit the offer to the unavailable ones.

You are not missing much. They are basically rice dough sacs of frozen confection. 6 in a pack, 32 grams each. Would never pay the $52 per kilo cost.

Another perk has appeared making it 3 for the month. It is another yoghurt Dairy Farmers Thick & Creamy 140g.
Same here - redeemed the other two earlier in the month; the first time I'd redeemed something in about half a year... will probably get this too

Went to woolies today to redeem the free products and do a big shop for the 10% off under the Extra subscription.

Got to the end of the process, clicked what at the time I thought was “Apply 10%” but looking back I think it only had the “okay” option, but I’m sure it was talking about the 10% discount.

End results, i purchased those yoghurts and the desert balls for full price and didn’t get 10% off?

Earned points to my rewards account so it was definitely applied to the transaction. Can’t work out how to get what I’m owed, other than driving all the way back to woolies.

EDIT: just read up thread and can see this isn’t new - except not getting 10%
EDIT 2: I selected all the correct flavours (by chance)

Contact Woolies online, they should be able to organise a credit for the owed amounts.

Yep, I assumed it would be a nightmare or some T&C I hadn’t understood. But as you say, they very quickly and without drama apologised and gave me the equivalent value in rewards points. I’m actually amazed at how simple it was, they saw the transactions, could see it was an error and just fixed it.

Goes to show, other companies that don’t even understand their own products and refuse to solve problems, is just due to a business choice to provide poor service, because some big companies can manage it.

In my opinion and experience, I'd go so far as to say that Everyday Extra is the best subscription product out there (others I've subscribed to are the usual Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc - it seems hard to fully escape subscription models as it looks to be the way of the future).

From a value standpoint, and a benefit to cost ratio, this one just kicks goals through and through. For example, I started my subscription at the end of September 2023. Since that time, these are my stats:

So I've saved a total of 500% of the initial outlay ($70 paid a month after joining). That's amazing - even if you take into account the supposed Woolies/Coles tax compared to Aldi/markets/butchers etc.

Here's a pro tip for those who want to take Everyday Extra to Everyday Extra Pro Plus Platinum status (not sure if it's been mentioned before):

You can double dip on the monthly 10% discounts. Here's how:
  1. Your first order of the month should be online (I'd recommend using their "Direct to Boot" service - saves SO much time and can also access online-only specials).
  2. <PM me for more information>
  3. Your next shop should be in-store. When you checkout, scan your ER card as usual, at the end it'll prompt you with the usual "Would you like to redeem your monthly 10% off?" and of course press Yes.
  4. For even higher level stacking, buy a second subscription when on sale (I've got a second one, purchased at the end of November 2023 at the Black Friday promo price of $35 for the year). This way, you get a total of 4 shops per month that you can apply the 10% discount to. So far, in the almost 8 months I've had this second account, it has saved another ~$220 and added another bonus ~3,000 pts).
  5. Want to take the game to an even higher level? Buy WISH gift cards at a discount (either 3% directly through the Everyday Rewards app or up to 5% through RACV, Seniors etc) and pay with a Platinum Edge card. 3x points on spend, discount achieved and then further discounts with the 10%.
Can you blame me for being such a big fan of the product?

All I hope is that it doesn't suffer Enshittification (as is extremely common with products these days, unfortunately).

Happy to answer any questions, sorry for such a long post. Just wanted to share my experiences and tips with the AFF community.

Please edit the above post and remove the sensitive information. Publicly shouting it from the rooftops will get it closed down.

We use PM to discuss things like this.

To be fair there is only one true loophole in the post which has been mentioned (a bit more obliquely) in this thread mtiple times

Quick questions for those who have multiple paid subscriptions:
1. Did you just use a different email for the second subscription, assuming no issue having same name and QFF account linked?
2. Did you get referral points for your own second account?

My perk this month is a Harpic adhesive toilet block  I preferred last months offerings 😂

Free Heinz prepared meal varieties 350g.... yeah, nah, unlikely.
