Everyday Rewards Targeted Offers

Mum is going to receive the VIP treatment with 3x bonus points for the next month.

Bonus points offers would have been better!

So, after a 4 week $155 spend for 13k points then followed by a 4 week $150 spend for 15k points just completed this morning I find in my inbox a new offer. Was extremely underwhelmed with a 2 week $170 points for a measly 2000 points!!!!

Just on that final spend this morning, almost got tripped up. I knew I had to spend $132 or so this morning and it was the chosen weekend for the WW 10% credit card discount. The total come in at around 146 or something like that and I saw on the screen the 15000 points earnt, but when I come to pay I only needed to spend $132 which was the discount applied. Then as we were walking off, the docket had a message like "You're nearly there, 40c to go to get 15000 points". Yikes, back in the store to buy one item as the discount bumped me just under the $150 total spend for the week.

This week was the last week of a spend $50 x 4 weeks for 10,000 bonus points.

Received a new offer of spend $85 x 2 weeks for 2000 bonus points.

I'm not sure what algorithm they use but that's a stretch too far and not worth the effort. Each of the first 3 weeks I spent just over $50 and just now spent $50.39 to complete week 4.

That's still a better offer than what I received - spend $80 x 2 weeks for 1000 points. It's 500 points for each week although I'm not sure if Week 2 is valid if Week 1 is not completed.

The only upside is that the spend can be completed in multiple shops, although I probably won't be able to complete it even with that.

The account which had my $50 for 4 weeks offer got an offer of $95 for 2 weeks. I think that's a ridiculous increase. Nice to know I wasn't the only one signalled out for an increase.

Now onto my second week of spend $50 each week for 2 weeks to receive 3,500 points offer. Easy to achieve given the reasonable spend amount.

Woolworths has been quite good to me lately as I have also managed to take advantage of the same offer ($50 each week for 2 weeks for 3,500 points) in late June/early July.

A card not used or targetted in months just received a 3500 points for 2 $50 shops over 2 weeks.

Card 1 - just completed 4 * 30 for 4k points. new offer 2 * 80 for 3.5k points.
Card 2 - just completed 4 * 30 for 4k points, new offer 2 * 50 for 3.5k points
Card 3 - ignored offer of 2 * 80 for 4k points, new offer 2 * 65 for 4k points
Card 4 - no offer this round or next.

Unlikely to be spending at WOW this round.
