Everyday Rewards Targeted Offers

I didn't meet the last offer spend (too high $225) requirement and now have a new offer of spend $150 in one or more shops for 2 weeks for 4500 points.
More doable

It simply amazes me how they “afford” some of these offers. 9400 points for a $100 spend (5400 weekly offer and 4000 online offer), chuck in a couple of item offers and it will be close to 11000. I carefully craft my spends across different cards for maximum benefits, but will happily bite on $100 spend this time around.

BWS: 1000 points for $110 spend on spirits. Pass.
Big W: 10x points offer for $35+ spend. Available across multiple shops

What happens with out of stocks for online offers and you come in below the threshold? No bonus points?

I do not do online shops for groceries but through this (long) thread there are many reports of this happening and yes no bonus points. The mitigation is to purchase over which is no guarantee and effectively brings the points to spend ratio lower which is not ideal.

But then again, whenever my wife does the in store shopping, rarely does the shop match the spend requirement either. I (internally) grown when I'm advised when a required spend for say $50 comes in at $150 as I know what the inevitible following weeks email will be.....leading to that account having a spell and onto another for a while.

I don't groan, I cry. All that effort to manicure offers from spends and wrecked in an instant. It rarely happens these days due to constant "supervision" and strict operational orders for shopping (it's not controlling behaviour!)

I opened an ER account for husband to see if I could generate a second set of offers as mine are all at ridiculous levels so want to be able to back off and hopefully generate at lower spend rates. However he is yet to be sent one offer. One thing I did notice is it seems to take longer for the bonus offers completed to be recognised and the bonus triggered and transferred to my ER tally.

I suggest opening a few accounts to share the load and have multiple options rather than just the two. You will also need to get a trend happening and do a few smallish purchases on each to get them going.

p.s Happy Birthday if I interpret your username correctly (or I got it horribly wrong :) )

Interestingly got an offer for container credits - 20 points per container credit that isn't redeemed. Implies that it's targeted (check the app to see if it's there as a boost) and you must have a minimum of 20 unredeemed container credits as of 1 March to be eligible. Conversion will take place by 5 March.

Now that is a good offer...shame I haven’t received it as the last thing I needed was more containers.

I just returned from a Coles shop and then checked email for a 2000 ED points offer for a $80 spend online by Sunday...nope

Three of four family accounts have more than 20 container credits and received this offer via the app; fourth account has only 13 credits so no offer.
Ts&Cs state "required to boost the offer before 23:59 AEDT on 28/02/2021 in order for Container Credits to be converted into Everyday Rewards points"
Conversion rate is twenty EDR points for every one Container Credit.
Converted points loaded onto the EDR card by 11:59PM AEDT on 05/03/2021.

So if you don't have the app you don't get the container credit offer? Husband has 30, but no app.

I have the app but only 14 container credits.
