Everyday Rewards Targeted Offers

Expect more 'Boost Your Budget'/product category style boosts in the lead up to Christmas from this week. Advertised to start from Wednesday 4 December:
  • 10x points on Dove products (1 week only)
  • 10x points on Heinz products (2 week offer)

First post in this thread.
I bottomed out with the weekly offers about 2 months ago - 3 was the lowest I saw.
Currently averaging 12-15 per week, other account in the house has 17 this week. At least half of these are for fresh produce, that makes up a major portion of our Woolies spend.
Haven't had a good $pend one in a while, then this week got $160/week (multi shop) for 4 weeks returning 15,000 EDR points. Doable.

Oh and on card number 3, yet another 1800 points for $350 spend. I have had this for weeks and it keeps coming.

Yet my spend on that card excluding gift cards, has been about $30-50 per week :(
I get the same offer on one of the cards I use for GC purchases. Before I started using this card for GC's it had not received a single offer in years.

Mine is back to 18 or so a week, but unlike before the ACCC action about up and down pricing, they've been mostly the same 18 for three weeks. Obviously related to that case as the boosters, at least up to a few weeks ago, are mostly suckins to buy in the up weeks.

I have a feeling the GC purchases now impact the points offers, I still get the small boosters but have not had a decent spend for points offer for over 12 months :(

Yes, I've been getting some stuck-on-repeat ones, and a subset that repeats on a tight cycle. Also super boosters (individual or specific products for bigger returns, and multiple purchases per week allowed) that have some duplication with some of the weeklies. Such as this week - weekly booster is 100 points for Yumi's 200g dips, with a super booster down the page for 200 points as well. Total return will therefore be 300 points per qualifying dip. If only I used them more!
Some of my super boosters (560 for Burt's Bees lip balms for example) have been on for at least a month straight.

I only occasionally buy GCs, perhaps why my boosters are appearing relatively generous. 🤷‍♂️

I have stopped paying attention to the details. I let the app auto-boost them and if we buy them, it's because we need them and not because they have points on offer. Neither of us have time to strategically compare the boosted offer with the special price the week before or after.

The problem with specific product boosters is that you usually get one the week after you have bought the product. That's fine if it fresh produce or snack foods as there is a chance you might need more the next week.

But pointless for things like bathroom or laundry or pantry staple products which one only needs to buys every couple of months.

I deliberately don't boost all offers, I'm never going to shop at the marketplace or Big W so why boost pointless offers. I really wish there was a way to flag offers as not relevant and hide/dismiss them.

I don't boost these types of offers either, if they are no good to me. The only ones that the app auto-boosts are the weekly 12/15/17/18/20/or however many you get.

1400 points for $150 spend, multi shop. Will stack neatly on week 2 of my $160 multi shop.
