Everyday Rewards Targeted Offers

Mrs excel had a similar petrol offer to those above. Unfortunately my regular commute only takes me past cobrand starmart woolworths, so promo not eligible.

They do seem to be staggering offers though. I note some other people are getting multi week offers above, but I'm in the middle of a two week offer (as is mrs).

Unlike FB which seem to stick to a regular schedule with the booklets, triple points, four week offers etc.

At least WWR actually send me offers - I never receive anything from FB except for a very occasional (and usually not worth taking up) bonus offer for buying fuel at Coles Express. Never get any offers for Coles - haven't received booklets/coupons for at least 4 years (which was also the last time I received a physical FB statement, the rest have been by email since), and I think I've received one bonus points offer (on the bottom on a docket) in the same period. The only other thing I get is the useless Liquorland offers on the bottom of EVERY docket. This is despite having being a FB member for years, shopping regularly at Coles (large and small shops) and I've tried the usual scanning the card, not scanning the card, only scanning on a few small shops, not using it for several months etc but nothing I try triggers any offers at all.

I've contacted FB a couple of times to ask why I don't receive the booklets/coupons/vouchers any more and get the generic answer "There are so many FB members, not every member gets every mailout". They still can't explain to me why I never get ANY mailouts though - I asked about going back to receiving my FB statements by mail in the hope that would at least trigger the booklets, but was told that even if I removed my email address from my FB account there was "no guarantee" that I would receive ANYTHING by mail!

So as few and far between as the WW offers are, at least they're sending me SOMETHING.

Ah a reverse parallel world. I get nothing from WW (and Mrs WF almost nothing) but FB has been prolific....

Once again had to call up WW to get them to post my 8,000 bonus for spending $80 over four weeks. They tried to tell to tell me "the points should go in tonight". When I told them the T&C's stated they'd already be there, they put me on hold, and the points were immediately credited.

Touch wood, I never have to call Fly Buys to get points/bonuses to post. I don't know why it's so hard for Woolworths. Both their systems and staff need improving.

I was told earlier this week that my 4000 bonus points would be in my WWR account today (the last of the "10 business days" referred to in the Ts & Cs") - not there yet, so if they haven't posted by tomorrow, I'll be contacting them again.

Well I have spent enough to qualify for this weeks 1600 points for $110 spend (over multiple transactions) BUT no activity is posting from the 28th.

My running total keeps increasing and is shown on the dockets. But the transactions are not appearing onsite, PLUS on reach the spend no mention of reaching the target.

Is anyone else having similar issues?

I've made purchases on 28 Feb and 1 March and both are showing on my WWR account, so no issues there.

Interesting that you have had a running total on the receipts - I didn't have this on the previous 2 week offer, nor is anything appearing on my receipts for the current offer either, which I found quite annoying. I noticed someone complaining about the same thing on the WWR FB page a few days ago and their reply was: "Due to some changes in our system, your receipt will no longer show you how much more you have to spend to reach your qualifying spend amount. We do apologise for any inconvenience this may cause" so it seems that's not correct either if yours are showing a running total!

That's actually the best percentage offer I've seen in this round of offers. One of the other offers out there is $40 spend for 600 points. You've got a 10% return. Most of the offers are just under that around the 7 or 8 per cent mark.

Well, the points didn't post to my account on 3rd March as promised, so I contacted Live Chat again this morning - they took some time to "look into it" then came back and said that the points would be manually credited, no explanation though as to why the they hadn't gone through in the first place. Have just checked my account and the points are there now. Doesn't exactly fill me with confidence though.

I have absolutely no confidence with the Woolworths Rewards team, and make notes of every call and screenshot everything. Last year a significant number of points failed to post properly. I called them up over the space of around 3 weeks, and got the run around. Despite remaining polite (which started to become difficult), supervisors never called me back as promised, and actually had one representative tell me that there was nothing more that could be done - and hung up on me!

A letter of demand to Woolworths Registered Office, and the points in question posted into my account.

That's a pretty woeful experience - and to be hung up on like that is totally unacceptable, as is the fact we have to take screenshots and keep records of phone calls etc to ensure we get points which we've qualified for by meeting all the required criteria for the promotion. There should be no need to have to constantly chase up points in this fashion.

WW Rewards aren't the only ones of course - I'm still waiting on Flybuys getting back to me about missing points from a recent fuel promotion, been a total lack of response from them so far.

I did something unusual today. A couple of family members received targeted offers for next week only. I didn't activate the offers and clicked the box saying I wasn't interested in them. This lead to a multiple choice question where I used the option, "target was too high" or similar wording. Usually I activate everything regardless of whether I was going to attempt the offer. The method I used today showed them I wanted to interact with the brand but the offer wasn't suitable. Hopefully that will show that I am interested and hopefully I will get something better next time. We've already got 2 offers we'll be taking up next week on other accounts so we don't need extra offers, especially since they were worse than the ones we are taking up.

I was going to do the same thing with the most recent two-week offer I received, as the spend target was higher for 40% LESS bonus points, however on the offer email there was no option to do so. On the previous offer (which I activated and made the qualifying spends), there was a "No thanks, I'm not interested in this offer" link directly underneath the second "Activate My Offer" button further down the email, but that didn't appear anywhere at all on the email for the next offer.

I've been clicking the "I'm not interested" link then the "target too high" option for the last couple of weeks hoping to see a change in the targets. No luck so far but it's early days.
